Bernie Sanders Wins Nevada Democratic Caucuses

Democratic Presidential Candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders Campaigns In Texas

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders easily won the Nevada Democratic caucuses with multiple news agencies projecting his victory with just over four percent of the precincts reporting their results. The decisive win is a huge boost for Sanders, who enters the next primary in South Carolina, trailing closely behind Joe Biden.

Biden performed well in Nevada and was sitting in second place as results continue to trickle in. Biden, who underperformed in Iowa and New Hampshire, boasted to his supporters that the results show he can win South Carolina.

"We're alive, and we're coming back, and we're going to win," he said. "We're going to win in South Carolina, and then Super Tuesday, and we are on our way."
