Buckingham played acoustic guitar as his daughter and her classmates sang Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide."
"Last night was epic," Buckingham's wife Kristen Buckingham Tweeted this past Saturday morning. "First time I've seen Lindsey play in the last four months, all the while Leelee ending her high school career. AND she sings a little 'Landslide' with her dad. I cried, I'll admit it. Never know what's ahead so enjoy the moment..."
Kristen also shared a clip of the performance via Instagram, showing Lindsey playing guitar as Leelee sings the last line of the song then high-fives her dad. Leelee plans to attend college at USC next fall.
The social posts from Kristen represent the only updates referencing the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's health since early-February.
In February, Kristen announced that Lindsey's vocal cords were damaged while he underwent open heart surgery. She said at the time it was unknown if the damage was permanent. It is still unclear if/when Lindsey plans to sing again.
Kristen noted in the initial announcement that heart problems run in Lindsey's side of the family (the guitarist has already lived to an older age than his father and brother), and that their family was just "fortunate he's alive."
