Watch Bruce Springsteen Dance With His Mom at New Jersey Bar

Bruce Springsteen Celebrated His Mother's 93rd Birthday

Bruce Springsteen and his mom celebrated her upcoming birthday in the most New Jersey way possible: down the shore at a bar with live music playing!

Adele Springsteen actually turns 93 in May, but apparently she's a fan of the Eddie Testa Band and its repertoire of oldies but goodies. Bruce and company took Adele down to Asbury Park's legendary Wonder Bar to take in some live music and do some dancing.

The Asbury Park Press reports Bruce and Adele danced for two songs...and then the power went out due to a storm that was rolling through the area!

The Springsteens and their crew reportedly stayed at the bar for over an hour, where a former Clarence Clemons band member JT Bowen led sing-alongs of "Standy by Me," "Under the Boardwalk" and "My Girl."

Bruce and Adele were joined at Wonder bar by a group including Bruce's son Sam Springsteen and Bruce's guitar tech Kevin Buell. The party also included a big bag of gifts for Adele.

The APP reports that Bruce and Adele were seen at another Eddie Testa Band gig as recently as last August.

Springsteen will be around his hometown of Asbury Park a bit more this coming year, as he's booked on Broadway through June.

The Boss' hit Springsteen on Broadway one-man show debuted last fall at New York City's Walter Kerr Theatre. Get more information here.
