This hotel is considered to be the most haunted hotels on the ENTIRE east coast. So haunted, you have to sign a waiver just to stay there and anyone under 16 is not allowed in.
This is an old home with 35 rooms and a hidden basement. The Hotel Shanley has been the site of many deaths including the infant deaths of the original owner's three children as well as several accidental deaths, missing persons and reports of murder throughout the years.
Many people who have stayed there have reported empty rocking chairs rocking on their own, mysterious clock chimes, hot spots, cold spots, and children laughing when there are none around.
