The proposed project would house UW-Eau Claire's basketball programs, as well as commencement and other University activities. The timetable is to begin construction in five years, and the complex would accommodate 7,500-8,000 people (not seating; this includes all services, as it will be a multi-purpose arena).

The land gift, valued at about $10 million, is the largest in University history. Funding will be through philanthropy and student fees.
